Join us for this Power packed anointing service as we practically explore the limitations of the earthen vessel and how God's spirit can fill up all the cracks
So, uh, I recently went through a period a few months back where it was a period of discouragement.
It was not the kind of, um, season you would expect that a man of God would be going through.
Praise God.
Uh, I was, I was discouraged about a number of things.
I felt like, um, I had a lot of people around me that were just taking and taking and taking.
I felt that even in church, it appeared that there were certain people that were out to frustrate the work we were doing, even in church.
[child yelling] And that no matter how much we struggled to build, there were people that were present to make sure we were discouraged.
Uh, I had some people I was working with, and they faced some pressures.
And I- I felt I failed them because, um, regardless of how much I tried to intervene, they were forced to withdraw.
And I went through that season of discouragement for a while.
It was like, um, Abraham.
You know how God kept promising him, "You will be a father to many nations." And he didn't know where the children would come from.
And when he even managed to get one child, God said, "Go and sacrifice this one." I, I was in that kind of situation.
I said to God, "You, you, you showed me a picture of where we are going.
It's looking like we make some step forward, and then I have to sacrifice everything and start again." It, it wasn't a blizzard season, of course, in our coming to church and it's mild, but I was discouraged.
And, um, while that was going on, something funny-- It, it was minor, but it was like the last straw.
Uh, children teachers, please, I'm hearing some noise from there.
It's very important that we concentrate.
So something else funny was going on, on another side.
You know, because I've ministered in a lot of places.
I belong to lots of church groups.
I was in those groups.
And, um, sometime early this year or late last year, God mandated me that I would have to get up in the morning and, um, pray not for myself, for the churches, for people.
And then when I was done, I would record some part of that prayer that I would send to the church, and I would send it to all those church platforms.
And I was doing that for a while.
