Kelly HolmesHostYou know, APIC makes us feel special even if, you know, within our organization, you know, sometimes that doesn't always feel that way.
But APIC, I think, really does take good care of us, and it was awesome that you guys created all these resources for people to pick and choose from.
So this week is, you know, a great week to also raise awareness about the infection prevention role in the organization.
So what advice do you have for IPs to really raise that awareness about their role? So, Celeste, you made me think of something when you mentioned the C-suite.
Maybe go ahead and get ahead of things a couple weeks in advance now and let that C-suite know that, "Hey, we share this week with a couple of other departments in here, but look, we have this cool tool kit already.
What can we do and what can we expand on to kind of make this go above and beyond?" So go ahead and get, um, in contact with your C-suite and see what you can do, like about a month in advance would be g- well, I guess by the time this comes out, rewind.
Go ahead and get with your C-suite and see what you can get out there a little bit in advance, see what tools, and really get some support behind that.
Get out there, talk to other people, talk with somebody that maybe you haven't talked to before, a different department you've not investigated before.
When you're going out promoting infection prevention, maybe ask the different staff members what their biggest infection prevention concerns are.
