From our Patreon, Chris wants to know, where do we think the Abominant fits in 11th? Forced battle shock tests seem good with the changes.

mate? I've always wanted to run double Abominant, and this event just proved how powerful just the Battle Shock ability is on the Abominant.

With it being 24-inch range and line of sight for it, you can suicide an Executioner, a Brigand, to go... uh be within 12 force the minus two it really works well and combos well with the army rule now also because you're not having to maintain that battle shock because things are going to have to retest at the start of their command phase it just doesn't auto unbattle shock

So what is the, again, for folks who are new to the army or wanting to see how the whole thing fits in, Ratne, what does an abominant do? Why is that strong?
So the abominant was kind of previously maligned in sort of 10th as probably the worst big night because, you know, you spend 355 points for an AP-0 gun.
You at least think they at least have the sort of decency and the respect to give it one AP.
Instead of a buffing aura, it's got an evil aura where every enemy unit that's within 9 of 1 or more abominants on a 3-up takes D3 mortals.
You point and click, do a battle shock test, and it's got a lot of volume damage 3, both in shooting and in melee.
So really, it's like a multi-phase knight that debuffs your enemy more than it buffs you.
