Yeah, when we go to work, we want to be safe, right? As an educator, I went to work every day, whether I was going to Hillside Junior High or Parma Senior High School, I always felt safe walking into my work site, and that's what everybody deserves.

so when i went to school and when you went to school we probably didn't have the cameras everywhere you know when you have the heightened security systems those systems cost money uh and that that's what you need a state to come in and you know pay their fair share over but you mentioned that there are some uh students that are experiencing trauma like everybody's focused on wellness these days but sometimes we forget about the wellness of our students all the way from kindergarten to high school age till 12th grade.

The biggest safety issue that I'm hearing is that sometimes because kids are going through difficult circumstances and they don't have access again to a school counselor or a social worker, they act out and they happen to act out and they act out at their teacher and they might hit their teacher.

So just having those types of interactions with children You know, our educators are worried about that.

It's because we need adequate ratios for school counselors and social workers.
