So, um, when, uh, when we talk about human factors integration or HFI, we mean the formal process that is used to implement human factors and ergonomics knowledge, principles, and methods throughout the system design life cycle.

According to RISPE guideline, uh, HFI involves applying a systematic and scientific approach to the identification, tracking, and resolution of issues related to human system interactions.
