also teach songwriting but when i which i've You can't really teach songwriting.

It's more that you're giving people the space and the opportunity to explore what they want to create or what they want to express.

And then there's a few techniques and a few things to hone stuff with, but it's really just giving people the opportunity and the time and the allowance and saying, you can sit and do this.

So I try and do that for myself.

If I'm feeling quite emotional or um like there's some sort of like frustration or like stagnation um i'll sit with my uke and i'll go right okay what is it i'm trying to convey what what do i feel i need to get out into the world um outside of myself anyway what needs to be external rather than all my over-analysis internally.

And then sometimes it will be, what do I feel I would like others to hear? That's not too often.
