Oh, that is an interesting question because I was very much a perfectionist, very much a people pleaser, a mom pleaser.

I wanted to do everything that I was supposed to do.

So when I was younger, I definitely made all the good grades.

Everyone was like, "Okay, you're smart.

You should be a doctor or a lawyer," because that is the epitome of success in my mom's eye.

I knew I didn't wanna be a lawyer, so I was like, "Oh, the doctor thing, that sounds cool." My mom would get me, like, chemistry sets and microscopes and that sort of thing for my birthday and Christmas, and I did that, and that's what I was gonna be all the way up until, like, senior year of high school.
