Comparing the open world of Witcher 3 and the open world of Blood of Dawn Walker, how would you compare the two?

So it is very different.

So in Blood of Dawnwalker, you still do have that, I don't want to call it checklist anymore, but just icons on the map, right? Like you can do this, you can do this fort, you can do this enemy camp, or you can do this quest.

But you have to choose which ones are worth doing because even certain dialogue options, for example, will cost you time.

And there's the day-night system where there are some quests I can do at night and then some quests you can only do in the day.

So you have to decide which ones are worth doing.

And eventually, I guess very quickly, I realized that just the random activities on the map that in another open world you do basically as a checklist, a lot of them are not worth doing compared to the quests.

I love that.

So I would say I kind of saw the writing on the wall back in 2022.

This wasn't widely reported, but Sony actually closed their disc production facility in the United States in 2022.

So they only have one disc production facility left in Austria.

And what that means is...

if they have to ship their discs, right.

That's more, uh, it's more expensive right now, especially with the like inflation and all those factors.

Because if GameStop was allowed to create a digital storefront alongside the sony and they could sell sony games on it they could have their own sales they could and the percentage that they get off of that is greater than uh obviously they would get nothing from the sony store but like that to me would make me feel better about this news but that doesn't seem to be where anything is going that doesn't seem to be on the table and that's weird to me especially that the eu isn't doing anything about it the fact that united states isn't doing anything about it i'm like yeah of course not look who's in charge but like generally the EU has some pretty decent customer protections
