And Zam, how about yourself? How did you get involved? Where did it start?

My journey started, believe it or not, 10 years ago for an event at this same site here.

So in 2016, I hadn't heard too much about the ISB, but I was very interested in going and seeing other sites, pharmaceutical manufacturing sites, just out of my curiosity.

and ISB had a site tour of one of the facilities here in Macclesfield, AstraZeneca.

So I drove all the way from Windsor in my little ego and came all the way here for the site visit.

was hooked from that event onwards and kept coming to most of the site facilitators.

One of the leaders at that time, Sean Whitfield, who's now retired from ISP and the industry, saw that I'm quite keen and keep coming to these ISP events and asked me the question, would you like to get involved? And I became the emerging leader co-chair for the ISP UK.
