What is the purpose of having a conference like this where young single adults, members of the church can gather and spend this time together?

Well, my thoughts, if I can open up a scripture really quick, my thoughts go into the book of Matthew.

And the Lord says in Matthew 18, verse 20, for where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

And I think that if this principle is true for two or three people, you know, maybe us here in this room, how much more true is it for two or 3000 or 10,000 or 20,000 people? And if we're all united around Jesus Christ, we can really feel His presence there.

We can see how He's directing our lives and His work.

So that's to me why I think this is so important for us to gather together as kind of this bastion in the world, which is so confusing and dark and there's wildfires and earthquakes and tempest, so much confusion, but we can gather together thousands and thousands of people just trying to make the world a better place.
