So tell me about like some of those new things for this year that you guys are doing.

Yeah, we've always had road controls, and that's something in the permit process, like when you're like, I'm going to have a 2,000-plus person bike ride or race, then they're like, you need to control this.

In Fort Collins in the county, if it's a signaled intersection with lights, they request slash demand that police officers control those intersections.

I don't know if that's how it is everywhere, but so we kind of make the routes... to minimize stoplights um

because stop you know signaled intersections are more dangerous obviously but to not have to pay a ton of money to have dozens of police officers controlling all those signaled intersections um there's a lot of behind the scenes on like, why does the route go here and not here and here and not here? And that's a big part of it is like, well, we can have two traffic lights on the entire course for all the courses and then only have to hire off duty police officers to control those two intersections.

Um, and then, um, There are, as any gravel race, there are still intersections that aren't controlled.

Um, so tell me about starting that, the why behind it and like, has it panned out how you expected of it complimenting what you do already?
