And so what was the focus then on that?
27:29
So interestingly enough, so I went to Yeshiva University.
27:33
At Yeshiva University, I was doing a dual curriculum.
27:36
So I was studying Talmud from around... 7.30 in the morning till 3 p.m. in the afternoon.
27:45
I then had a full slate of classes between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. My first two years, I used to go back and then study Talmud from around 8 till 12.
27:56
And that's not even the religion major.
27:58
That was entirely secondary.
31:52
That's the
9:12
What do we get right? What do we get wrong? As a firm, as our firm has really embraced AI and is approaching new technology with open arms and with the fascination that you mentioned in the lead-in, what do lawyers get right and what do they get wrong in implementing AI into their daily practice?
9:31
So first of all, I think we're still at the early phases of AI.
9:38
And I think that for a lot of people, if you've been in it for three years, maybe initially as a spectator, maybe more recently as a user, you might feel like, OK, we're at the beginning of the end.
9:53
And I think we're more like at the end of the beginning, right? So it's hard already necessarily to talk about what lawyers are doing right and wrong with AI because we're still experimenting.
10:05
I think the thing that would have been wrong is if over the past three years, you stuck your head in the sand, you tried to pretend that this trend would go away, that we were in a bubble, that we're, oh, this is just a phase, this is like the metaverse, or this is like web three.
10:29
to pretend like this wasn't the most significant development of our lifetimes, I think would have been the absolute wrong path.
10:39
Now, the good news is I think that when it comes to the data, you see that lawyers actually have been adopting AI, and this has not been one where they've really tried to sit on the sidelines.

31:24
Although
9:57
What's your view on that?
9:58
So first of all, I made my list, my 2025 column and my 2026 column.
10:04
2025, I had prompt engineering.
10:05
In 2026, I had vibe coding.
10:07
You know, because I've been meeting with the folks of the AAA for a while, that we were flagging vibe coding for a while now.
10:15
And you and I were telling anyone who would listen that the biggest deal to watch in 2025 was not any of the Harvey or the gore of funding rounds.
10:24
It was the base 44 acquisition by Wix.com because that was like the vibe coding moment where you had a publicly traded website builder basically saying we're dead.

11 MINS LATER

21:07
That might be an undercount.
