Beautiful pieces of art.

This is my third time playing a session in Daggerheart, and it's growing on me a lot.

I like the 2D12 system, and I like the hope and fear mechanics, because it reminds me of another TTRPG that I really enjoy that's Star Wars-based that has light side and dark side points that are very similar to hope and fear.

And I think it's really... cool and i really like telling stories so i really like the freedom to kind of make your own decisions not solely based upon what's on the page and i think it gives for a lot of freedom in flavoring and telling a story that you want to tell despite it having set boundaries

I agree with

the turn-based combat.

I always have a hard time because it feels like either you're jumping at the fact to do something.

And I know I always get in my head, I'm like, oh, am I being overwhelming with how much I want to do? Or like...

L-E-X, how are you traversing forward as you go down the staircase?

I am going slowly, and they are looking around at everything because they don't, they're not supposed to be here on this job.

They need to get this done successfully to get the quantum, and they don't wanna get hurt in the meantime.

So very, very, as stealthily as possible, but as cautious and trying to be aware of everything around them.

Uh, as I see these, uh, little guys kind of skitter onto, um, Detective Rose, I'm going to start kind of, like, bits and bobbing, booping at my gauntlet on the side and turning dials and facing the, um, speaker towards this horde, and I'm going to attempt to do ice spike, which I'm flavoring in the way that it's gonna try to freeze up "the systems" with the frequency.

L-E-X, what do you do?

Sitting in the corner, kind of like tucked away inside of a booth, you see a 5'3 in furnace, purple in furnace, with black hair streaked with streaks of teal, wearing kind of like a very dark hooded outfit, trying to kind of sneak away into the back.

But the one thing that does show them out to everyone around them are the two... big type of gauntlets on their arms that have dials and speakers and weighted control frequencies.

They're kind of tucked away in the corner and they're trying to tune in and like amplify the noise around them to try and get any dirt or anything going around the bar.

How does this actually happen? So they put their ear pieces in, but what actually happens?

You see, when this happens, LAX pulls out their own headphones and puts them on their head and puts these two vocal box sensors around their neck.

They're kind of like an extra set of headphones, but they're actually microphones that connect straight to their vocal cords.

And they have perfect pitch.
