My name is Yuki Minato.

I'm a technical officer at the Department of Nutrition and Food Safety at the World Health Organization headquarters located in Geneva, Switzerland.

I was responsible for coordinating the work to estimate the burden of foodborne diseases for this iteration, 2026 edition.

Myself, I joined WHO 15 years ago, and since about 10 years ago, I'm working in the area of food safety by developing key performance indicators for international health regulations or working on surveillance of foodborne diseases.

I had an assisting role for the first iteration of the estimates, working with the FERC, including Rob himself.

So finally then, what do you hope to see in the future, I guess, for this project as well as for foodborne disease?
