What do people need to know?
68:25
Okay, so Asa Phillip Randolph was the organizer of the Sleeping Porters back in the early 1900s.
68:34
The Sleeping Porters were the black men that took care of the white people when entering the trains.
68:43
So they took care of the bags, they took care of the food, they took care of the sleeping quarters, and he organized that particular group of men.
68:54
Shortly after, he as well organized what we know as the March on Washington, where he invited Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., where, of course, we all have come to know the I Have a Dream speech.
69:13
So if it wasn't for Asa Phillip Randolph and Banger Rustin, we may not have ever known the I Have a Dream speech.
69:22
Of course, we would have known Dr. Martin Luther King because he was a well-known, young African-American black man.

right so look so first of all thank you for all your work and a lot of people one that history you just told a lot of people don't know that history and just like the story a lot of people don't know the efforts and the work so specifically here in Georgia and Atlanta why should we be getting involved with this movement and who are some of the people and players that we don't know
