But I want to hear what Yasin has to say because she is actually in school right now.

Just to make it clear, the ACT system has primary school from kindergarten to year six, high school from year seven to 10 and college from 11 to 12.
5:47
So it might be a bit confusing for people in other states.
5:50
But anyway, I think it works really well because especially the college system, it gives a lot more freedom from high school because in high school, it's kind of just like primary school with more assignments.

And in college you have like timetables where you can go home during the day if you have free periods and you're in charge of your own learning and you can take other career pathways that are not completely academic.
6:15
So you can take like a few classes and then also an apprenticeship part time if you want.
6:20
But you are in charge of your own learning, like it's very independent, but if needed, you can still get support if you ask for it from teachers or support staff and you're still required to have like a certain amount of attendance to graduate.
