This week's Parsha is Parshas Noach.
0:03
My question is, what are we supposed to take from this week's Parsha? The Parsha is not written as a storybook, as I said many times before.
0:11
The Parsha, we're supposed to learn something from it today.
0:15
What are we supposed to learn from the Parsha today that HaKadosh Baruch Hu destroyed the world because it was corrupt, because of chamus, robbery.
0:26
So what are we supposed to take? We shouldn't rob? We know we're not supposed to rob.
0:30
What is it-- what is today different than then? Today, we also have corruption in the world.

This week is Pashas Kisavoi.

The Torah starts off with Bikurim, Vidoi Maisa, and it talks about brachas and klalas.
0:11
So basically I have two questions.
0:13
First, what's the connection of Bikurim and Vidoi Maisa, Kriya Zabikurim and Vidoi Maisa? First let me explain the mitzvah of Bikurim, that the first ripe fruit you bring to the Bais HaMikdash, you put it in a basket, you give it to the koin, and you say a whole bunch of tefillis out loud in front of the koin, basically thanking Hashem from Harami or even Avi, from HaKadosh Baruch Hu who saved us from Lavan, to going down to Mitzrayim, and it goes a whole bunch of Psukim, a lot of it we see in the Haggadah, and Hashem gave us a Tishrol, and that you're thanking Hashem by giving your first ripe fruit, And it's interesting to note that the Khinuch brings down that the Mitzvah, one of the Tayag Mitzvahs of Bikurim is not bringing the Bikurim, it's the Kriyasa Bikurim.
1:10
It's reading the Psukim to the Koyim.
1:12
The Khinuch says that if somebody brings Bikurim and doesn't read the Psukim, Not only is the mitzvah of Bikurim, so the main mitzvah of Bikurim is the Kriyas of Bikurim, is reading the Bikurim.
