Xavier, what did you make of his game and also the rest of the boys' big win last night up there in Brisbane?

It was an unreal win, and for Lange to get three tries, I felt like he'd done the little things really well.

He built his game off the little things, coming out of the backfield, working really hard with his edge to get the defensive reads right, and that sort of carried on his game to score three tries, but He's copped a fair bit of stick coming into NRL.

He started his NRL career a year ago and made his debut and he was great and all and then probably didn't have a couple of games that were up to his standard and he sort of felt a bit disheartened but I'm glad that he stuck with it, worked hard and worked his backside off and he eventually had a great game and everyone can see his potential now.

So I'm really excited.

He's only a couple of games into his NRL career and he's still got a lot more to go so exciting times for Melbourne Storm, and hopefully he gets a few more games under his belt.

What made you think, "Yep, I'm gonna write a book"?

Well, they, they actually got in touch with me and, um, said is there a possibility that I wanted to write a book, and I was, oh, I was down 100%.

And, um, I felt like my journey coming up as a young kid, um, was probably different to a few other people's journeys.

And, um, I thought if I could get that out in a book and let young kids see my journey and see that, um, even the superstars of the NRL had a bit of self-doubt, um, had a bit of challenges, a bit of adversities coming through, um, that they could push through th- their adversities as well.

So, um, I think it's a pretty cool concept, um, myself writing a book, and, um, there's other athletes that have done it as well, but, um, I'm pretty proud of mine as well.

If you, I'm sure you've spoken to him, Zave, but if there's one thing you could reflect on that you could tell him that he would absolutely listen to, what would it be?

Ooh, that's tough.

It's probably that everyone's journey is different and don't try and sort of follow a player, like follow their routine and try and be like them because everyone's different.

Their journeys are different, how they come onto the NRL scene is different.

So I think it's all about trying to find what suits you rather than trying to follow another person's footsteps.

I think that's what really helped me.

Like I was 18.

And X to finish us off.

nice good stuff um all right now zave obviously i'm sure the storm fans would have seen a pretty devastating injury setback for you we were all very excited to see you out on the field this year but unfortunately it won't be till next year can you talk us through a bit about how you're feeling i guess what happened and yeah i think you know i want to know how you're sort of dealing with that mentally and just the disappointment of that because is this is this the first long-term injury you've had

Yeah, first long-term injury.

But to be fair, that partial tear I did when I was in the grand final, it's actually turned out to be a long-term injury.

And then now it's like sort of another long-term injury on the back of it.

So to be fair, like I – probably haven't dealt with it that great.

Like it's been pretty difficult, but I feel like I'm getting better each day that goes by.

And I was lucky enough.

What did you make of him not getting selected and then putting Jack Bostock in?
