annoy people yeah

um so so all of it so basically we get to know the the market deep in mother away club as i have imagined them um and then obviously is the act of violence and vandalism and but what actually happened in reality was that which is what also the place primarily about actually is the fact that people rallied round And there was an appeal launched, uh, to try and those 30,000 pounds worth of damage done to, uh, to the, to the kit.

William IvoryGUEST
And the club had, they did have some, some insurance, but again, it was, the issue was the stuff that was irreplaceable, you know, which was priceless.

William IvoryGUEST
Um, so, uh, the appeal went out and, um, £150,000 worth of donations came in, including £10,000 from Rod Stewart, who was a keen model railwayer, it turned out.

William IvoryGUEST
And so it's very much about that and the way in which the community rallied round and supported these people in their hour of need.

William IvoryGUEST
And it's also about, for me anyway, the thing that I was... really interested in is the idea of memory because i can remember uh if i was writing something the other day for for left line actually about you know earliest memories of theatre in nottingham and and i can remember going to the playhouse in the mid-75s seeing um comedians by trevor griffiths and but you also i remember some some great comedies like eggborn and and uh you know seeing his seeing his plays and and laughing so uproariously and And I started to think about what memory is, and particularly the modern railway, because there are modern layouts, and there are even some that are futuristic.
