So I'm wondering, you know, where are you, are you able to identify and pinpoint where some of those gaps might be coming from or where it is that you're seeing those gaps?

um there's definitely gaps all throughout the k-12 process right it's whether there's certain gaps within their basic arithmetic gaps within just general foundations of writing having a thesis statement actually presenting your thesis statement and providing evidence general punctuation.

Um, and what I realized was actually when I was teaching in the classroom, we actually had an intervention for students that were entering sixth grade, uh, specifically designed to kind of help close the gaps with fractions and decimals.

Um, we called it, uh, math, we called it math bootcamp.

So me and the principal, we kinda, endeavor together and kind of created this intervention for the students to kind of close that gap in their learners.

So that way, by the time they were done with that program, they were actually able to, you know, multiply, add, subtract, divide fractions, learn how to convert fractions to decimals and kind of see the connection between because I could speak, I speak specifically coming from a math lens because the last seven years in the classroom, that's what I predominantly taught.

Um, but you could see the gaps when you're doing new, new, new steps, new, new, um, lessons, you know? Okay.

But what are your thoughts on that?
