Yeah, and how did that all play out? Your mom alluded to, you know, I guess struggle might be the word I think she used in high school, maybe that there was a pressure with as many scouts that were in the stands looking at you and some of your teammates, and that you, I don't know if you slumped during that period, if that's the right word to put on it, but how did that kind of impact you in your junior and senior years of high school playing, and mentally how did it impact you?

Yeah, slump is not a dramatic enough word for what I went through a senior year.

So after area code games, and for people that don't know, you had mentioned area codes is where they group the best players, high school players in the country to basically fly all the scouts to one location to watch all of the best talent in the country.

And if you do well at area codes, you're set for life.

I ended up doing really well at area codes to the point where I was on all of these lists top five prospects, top 10 fielders.

If you look at those lists, they're all famous names now.

I don't want to say I let that get to my head by any means, because I was, like I said, all about the long-term vision.

So you get back on the mound and you actually turn that into... um another year at michigan which i mentioned in the beginning which i thought was fantastic you got a master's degree at michigan i mean who the heck doesn't want that despite the fact that you didn't want to do math at stanford you get a master's degree from michigan so pick it up from there you know how are you feeling now how are you feeling physically how are you feeling mentally and then ultimately what happens with the end of your play at michigan
