Was that just an itch that you had to kind of scratch yourself as a fan to try and give cohesion to it?
9:20
Yeah, because I don't think writing another Doc Savage novel or another shadow novel, or even a crossover is necessarily worth the effort, unless you can do more with it.
9:31
And part of doing more with it is to explore both characters I have a philosophy that I've evolved.
9:38
that when you do a crossover like this, you first have to decide whose world is the story taking place in.
9:46
And in my first crossover with those two characters, the Sinister Shadow, I decided it was taking place in the shadow's world, the world where there's a seedy underworld.
9:58
The villain is scaled to the shadow's size and not Doc Savage's concept of a villain.
10:05
And the events are localized to greater New York.

13 MINS LATER

23:08
And this isn't the only story you've created as well with King Kong as being a Tarzan crossover, if I'm correct?
HenryHOST
28:42
Yeah.
28:42
And so now push forward to '24, we've, um, we've gone into the confinement lot, and so we've built ourselves...
28:50
Now, well, we've actually, we built it while we were feeding, which was a bit of a challenge.
28:54
But, um, so [laughing] we started feeding in April, I believe, and we got the first sheep into the confinement lot end of July.
29:03
And so we built, um, we've got 15 pens.
29:06
They're 100 meters by 100 meters, so that way we've got 100 meters of feed trough, um, in every pen so that we can sort of fairly comfortably feed 500 ewes in a pen there.
29:19
And then that was just like, we've got a TMR mixer that does all that stuff.

I already like where this is going.
31:26
[laughs]
31:26
So, uh, but then a- anyway, went away and became a teenager and was less interested in plants.
31:32
But, um, as I sort of, um, I then had a career in design, so I worked designing, um, sort of interior spaces for things like galleries and exhibitions and things like that.
31:42
And then, um, as COVID came along, as it does for, as it did for a lot of people, it changed my circumstances quite a bit, and it gave me that time to think about what do I really want to do.
31:52
And I decided that actually probably it would be something to do with plants.
31:55
So, um, I'd thought about being a garden designer for a long time.
31:58
It sort of fit my, uh, skill set already.
32:09
... and you're at Chelsea, and I, you, I, you've been before, so tell us a little bit.
