What's your process to sort of learn and upskill?

So I guess I'll preface this by saying the types of companies that we are looking for and the way our investment process works is we are very vigilant around our circle of competence and what we do and don't know.

And ultimately, any company that is going to require us to spend six months learning chemistry or rockets or, you know, any kind of incredibly complex topic is actually we would just screen that out and say that it's too difficult.

And so, an important thing here is for us as investors of Fairlight is we're not aiming to have an informational edge on other people or we don't go out to try to get superior investment results by knowing more or being smarter than other people because I guess we don't think we're good enough to do it.

What we want to do is have a decision-making edge.

So, the idea is that we can take all the information that everybody else can and then make a better decision using that information.

And so, that being said, when you think about the businesses we own, so... one of the largest paint manufacturers in the US, trucking companies, which we've talked about before, things like online classifieds, all these businesses, ultimately, making and selling paint is not that complex.
