Sure.
45:52
Sure.
45:52
So Melissa, who is our third co-founder of AdvocacyCon, and I had a true crime podcast.
45:58
We started in COVID.
46:00
And it was the thing that we could do together on Wednesday nights when the world was shut down.
46:06
And her and I are both volunteer-based people.
46:09
We also are parents of two boys.
50:16
So from that standpoint, AdvocacyCon, what kind of people do you want to attract as sponsors, as creators, as collaborators? And then also what kind of expectations can anyone attending walk away with? Hmm.
20:46
Did you ever see yourself becoming a co-founder of a conference like AdvocacyCon? How did this come about? How did you get here? The answer is
20:55
no.
20:55
I never envisioned this as my future.
20:58
I never thought that advocacy would become a passion, let alone something I do every single day.
21:04
my story is vastly different than eric's i don't have lived experience i do not have a family member who has gone missing i do not have a family member who has been murdered i started in the podcast realm melissa and i the other co-founder started our podcast during covid because we were bored and we needed something to do We had family dinners.
21:22
We started recording our conversations about what podcast we had listened to or what cases we had covered.
21:28
And we are naturally volunteer-based people.
25:20
How do you do this? How do you find that space to give people support and take on that trauma and hold space for people?
