How does it – this week, getting ready for Clemson, ellie do you even remember like what it was like preparing for them a year ago like how do you compare contrast what it's like this go around from last year getting ready for this team
4:13
Well, definitely, like, I mean, new systems for them, new offensive coordinator who hasn't called plays in a couple years.
4:20
So, really, we don't really know what we're going to see exactly.
4:24
We're just going to have to go out there and play by our rules, and Coach Baker's got us dialed up just to pretty much – just for anything.
4:30
Any weird stuff that may happen, may not happen, he's gotten us dialed in for.
4:36
But as far as, like, personnel goes, it's crazy because in this portal era, it's like – It's like we just played this team last year, but it's pretty much a whole new offensive line.
4:47
They got a lot of good skill players back there.
7:11
What stands
15:44
... watching that offense.
15:45
I think, think the hardest thing to defend with this offense is the fact that they'll show you the exact same look but run something totally different out of it, which is, is not as common as you think.
15:58
Like if I see, if I'm going into a game week and I'm studying a team and I'm like, "Okay, if this receiver's two yards on the top of the numbers and number three over here is cut, I know exactly what we're getting." Whereas with this offense it's like, "Okay, I know the play that you ran on Thursday out of this look.
16:13
You're cut, you're cut.
16:15
I know exactly what we're getting."
17:32
If they ask you to wear 18, will you?
17:34
That'd be a great honor.
17:35
Um, I know, I know the rich tradition and the history of that number that comes with that.
13:58
But either way, being limited and being there on the sidelines and not being able to play, how much does that suck?
14:03
It's hard.
14:05
And the hardest part is just that it feels to me like I'm letting my teammates down.
14:10
And they would all be like, dude, it's not the same without you out there.
14:14
And they just kept telling me, like, bro, like, it's different when I'm not out there.
14:17
I'm like, dude, don't tell me that because I'm trying to get out there as much as I can, but I just physically couldn't do it.
14:24
Like, I could hardly even run.

6 MINS LATER

20:48
What did you see from Ty?
20:50
[laughs]
20:50
... "If I go out there, my adrenaline's gonna be flying, um, and I'm not gonna feel it if I'm out there, but sitting on the sideline, I can feel it." So I was like, "Screw it," and I just, like, didn't even tell Coach Baker.
21:00
I just ran [laughs] on the field.
21:01
I was like, I was like, "Devon, Devon, come on," like, like, "I'm good.
21:03
Screw it, I'm going." So I ended up finishing that game, and then, like, come, I think it was, it was Monday, or it was, it was Tuesday 'cause we were practicing, and I, at this point I was like, "Something's wrong.
21:15
I can't s..." And I couldn't s- I couldn't take a shower.
21:17
I couldn't stand up-
25:08
His dad's number was 13, and I asked Witt Weeks the same question.
9:04
I need
9:05
to watch it.
9:05
Yeah.
9:06
What was it about LSU? You mentioned growing up in Georgia.
9:09
So I grew up in Watkinsville, just south of Athens.
9:12
Grew up a Georgia fan.
9:13
My dad played at Georgia back in the day.
13:40
But something you look back on and say, man, it shaped me for who I am today and at this point.
9:36
need to watch it.
9:37
What was it about LSU? You mentioned growing up in Georgia.
9:40
So I grew up in Watkinsville, just south of Athens.
9:43
Grew up a Georgia fan.
9:44
My dad played at Georgia back in the day.
9:46
Right.
14:41
But something you look back on and say, man, it shaped me for who I am today and at this point.
4:12
Yep.
4:13
You know you're gonna go in the weight room right after and just get after it.
4:16
Um, so every single week, it's like you're just steadily building, steadily building.
4:20
And then next week, we'll kinda have a little down week, you know, just kinda recover a bit and then roll right into camp.

5 MINS LATER

9:31
Mm-hmm.
9:31
Um, so that's what I wake up with every morning is I think, "Wow, like this isn't what I want my career to be here." I don't wanna be a team that loses five, six games a year.
34:24
catching up with lsu linebacker whit weeks here on otb uh give us some names though with some of the guys maybe because look there is so much new on this offense really there's only a handful of guys you know you got trade as and the running backs coming back and braylon more guys like that coming back bow borderline but for a large majority of it it's going to be a new face in a new place what are some of the names that stood out to you during spring practice
34:49
I mean, as far as the offense goes, the offensive line is standing out to me for sure.
34:53
I mean, Bo Bordelon at left guard, that dude's been balling.
34:57
Him and Jordan Seaton on the same side, that's a nasty combo right there.
35:00
And then you got Braylon, who he's a veteran.
35:02
I mean, he can just control that offensive line and make all the calls, do everything you need a center to do.
35:08
And I've been really impressed with our receivers as well.
36:43
But just with all the new, with Lane Kiffin being the head coach, what does that mean to you as a player to be on the biggest stage from week number one?
