with that so that any other, you know, future testing that they had done wasn't skewed by having done a pull from the knee right beforehand.

Wesley GawelGUEST
So after a brief warm-up, a couple of 50% and 75% warm-up pulls in that isometric position, we strapped them in and then we taped their hands in to make sure that grip wasn't a limiting factor.

Wesley GawelGUEST
We had them get set up in that mid-thigh pull position, and then we gave them at least two maximum mid-thigh pull attempts.

Wesley GawelGUEST
Each attempt was separated by about two to three minutes worth of break where the athlete was instructed to sit down.

And then from there, we give them three to four minute break in between as we shifted the bar down to the knee height and the same thing.
