or maybe an athletic state.

You know, these are the states of self that the Watkins would talk about that develop from normal differentiation, okay? So they are kind of on the left side of that continuum.

And those that lean towards the right are states of self that maybe because of complex trauma, childhood trauma, severe neglect, abuse, especially, you know, bullying or, you know, really extreme types of things that unfortunately people go through in this world as children.

Before the age of 10, they can develop these really rigid boundaries, you know, and they fall to the right where Where their states of self are not connected, you know, so they might have skills on one state, but they don't have access to those states if they switch.

And their automatic defense is dissociating into another part of self.

so they don't really learn to self-soothe.

Can you just
