And it sounds like you can learn a lot about the ecology and maybe even the environmental constraints and pressures that are on creatures by this boots-on-the-ground approach, just lots of people out looking.

One thing you'll notice if you look at iNaturalist on a computer screen where there's lots of room, you'll look at an observation, you'll see everything that I've described.

But on the right hand side, you'll notice projects.

And lots of the observations are automatically included in different projects.
