What does it mean to be exit ready? Okay.

Well, so I guess there's three components to that.

Exit ready of the founder or the CEO as a person.

Right.

So what are they in? There's a there's a lot to unpack here, but what do they want to do personally and professionally before, during and after an exit? And as you're doing annual planning, I think that's a question that they need to ask themselves on an annual basis.

What do I want to do? What are my passions? What is my purpose? What if I didn't have this business? What if the business didn't need me? What am I going to do? You can't golf every day, all the time, you know? So what does that normal Tuesday or Wednesday look like for you? And is it pursuing your passion and your impact and your purpose? it's not easy.

And, uh, I've had my, everyone has an identity crisis when they spent decades, you know, pouring their blood, sweat and tears in a business.

And not asking you to share anything you're uncomfortable sharing, but I am asking you to demonstrate if you can, either through your own stories or people you've worked with, what it actually is and what happens when people move into that space.
