So before we get into the seed garlic, can you tell us a bit about the farm?

Well, we're located in Southwestern Ontario, right in the heart of the corn, wheat, and soy belt.

We're on a heavier clay loam soil.

Holds moisture pretty good.

We get about an average of 37, uh, inches of rain a year.

We're in the, in the lee of, uh, Lake Huron, so we're in the snow belt, and often that means that we get a, a pretty good coverage of snow over the garlic as it overwinters, uh, as insulation, and that's a, a bonus on that end.

When we got the farm, everything in the area is tiled, and we've moved our tiling from 60 feet down to 15 now, so we're able to get on the land, uh, a lot quicker.
