But listening to people like you, it's important to hear what your journey's been like, what you've chosen to do, how you do it, and who is impacted by your efforts.

I appreciate that.

So I mean, like, I didn't always think like this.

You know, a- and I look back, everything came from that village that we had years ago, and we're trying to rebuild that village now.

My grandmother, great-grandma, so that's who instilled a lot of these things, my parents, my mother, my father, and that community.

So we got to hear people say, like, you ever hear the saying, preaching to the choir?And when you're preaching to the choir, as I get older and start maturing, what that means to me is that you can't preach to the choir if you don't have a solution.

So if God's putting on my heart I can't stop or change crime, I can help have people think different and have alternatives.
