Chelsea FollettHOST
You have an entire chapter, uh, uh, on what about slavery? So tell me, what about slavery?

Walker WrightGUEST
I mean, it was the slave trade, so it's just kind of like, well, they were trading slaves, so obviously this fits with the capitalist system.

Walker WrightGUEST
I try to point out that people like Adam Smith, you know, made both argu- both moral and economic arguments against, uh, slavery.

Walker WrightGUEST
Basically, just from an economic standpoint, uh, argued that slavery was comparatively inefficient, um, to, uh, to free labor in a sense.

Walker WrightGUEST
Uh, and what I tried to point out is beyond the moral arguments of, uh, against slavery, if you take the notion of like, well, what is slavery? It is probably the most restrictive form of labor market regulation there is.
