How much pride do you take in, in those play calls that come in the huddle, and you know, "All right, I got the hook," or, "I gotta stretch 'em out," or, "I gotta drive 'em"? How much pride do you take in those moments?

How would you assess the first three games for you and the team so far?

Um, I think it's been great.

I think it's been a lot of fun.

Uh, it was really cool this, uh, last game, Colorado State, to go, uh, to an away game and actually see so many BYU fans.

It was a new experience for me, um, to, you know, finish a, finish an away game and then, you know, do the high fives around the stadium and, you know, have thousands of people be there after the game.

Like I, I, I just can't say enough about the BYU fans and the BYU fan support.

Um, and I think, you know, offensively we've been, we've been clicking.

What was that like to be able to dominate in the run game, especially early? LJ goes for 56 on play two.

Mm-hmm.

But yeah, I mean, being in college now, just definitely have developed into, um, you know, 250 pounds and being able to still run fast and, and, uh, and whatnot.

And I think strength staff's helped me a lot here as well.

Like- Our in-season weights program is just, it's phenomenal.

And I can't s- I can't speak highly enough of what they have us doing, the science back behind it.

Um, and honestly, like it's, it's, it's like one of those things you don't realize.

What has your attention about their defense?

What's the most challenging part of competing against this BYU defense, with Raider Demuni and company back there?

Yeah, I, I mean, I think our defense just does so many different things.

It's like, you think you know what they're about to do, and then they switch it right, right, right at the snap, and they do that all the time, and it just kind of sometimes messes with you a little bit, but it, it's good overall.

I mean, like yesterday we, we were, uh, we had a play and, you know, I kinda ran like a, I guess like a wheel, and I was like, "Oh, I'm wide open.

Nobody, uh, nobody, nobody covered me." And then all of a sudden, Tommy, uh, Process, Process came just flying from opposite hash.

He, 'cause he saw, he saw it somehow and I don't know, they just, they make good plays and like stuff like that.

I was just like, our defense is pretty, pretty, uh, pretty unique that way, that they, they do a good job disguising, you know, coverages and different things.

How would you explain the dynamic between the two of you who transferred in, and how you're similar and how you're different?

The coaches also were, were good at kind of pointing this out to us, that when we were being recruited here, uh, it's, they were like, "We're, we're not recruiting you guys to come in here and kinda compete versus each other.
