When they do confront a shoplifter, I'm there to make sure that they're treated fairly.

And if they are arrested, I make sure that it's done in a fair manner, that it's a good, clean arrest, that there's no physical violence, no excess violence.

So I do make sure and I do let the person know that there's an indigenous person to make sure.

It's hard to talk to them.

I wait until everything settles down.

Then after that, when they are apprehended, then there's a lot of work to deal with the police, the store manager, and then I'm doing that.
