Arvind Parthasarathi on Building Resilient Cybersecurity with Cygnus
68:38
And Claire is asking, in a world of rapidly evolving agents, what does a trustworthy AI runtime look like when it needs to support both internal and and external users across an enterprise with external integrations as well?
V

So there's a lot of components that go into a trustworthy agentic runtime or harness.
V
69:07Vito SolimeneGUEST
Again, the basis of my presentation was really at that lowest level authentication authorization and security, right? So the The runtime harness needs to expose controls such that the most risky component of the system, which is the LLM, the most non-deterministic, isn't the one you rely most on for your safety net, right? Your system is authorized and secure.
V
69:32Vito SolimeneGUEST
And so that safety net is probably the base case, lowest level, and the most tried and true, right? We've had those controls in place for ages, eons.
V

The runtime harness and involvement for running your agents also should have a very rich human in the loop control system.
V
69:50Vito SolimeneGUEST
So very often human in the loop is maybe underplayed as a nice usability feature, but for system or for items and actions that are consequential that may not be able to undo, you wanna be able to check with a human in order to inform the decision-making process.

Vito Solimene on the Future of AI Security and Governance
1:42
So I was hoping you could share a little bit of your journey prior to founding Nextworld, and then we could dig into the solution and, uh, a lot of the questions that I think the audience will be excited to hear about.
V

Uh, I've been, I've been doing this, uh, over 30 years now, which when I say it is, is crazy.
