On the mental health topic, I think kids are way more equipped to talk about mental health needs and challenges these days, right, than in decades past, right? How do you see that play out at summer camp?

It's an amazing question.

There's definitely a lot more, like, therapy language in Zeitgeist that comes up a lot more and is, like... sort of funny and it's like it's like pretty funny to hear an 11 year old say like this um kind of behavior like sort of breaks a boundary for me or like that's like pretty funny i think that kids being able to talk about their feelings makes their lives better period I also think that nobody is good at resolving conflict, including adults.

I think that it is so normal in so many spaces to like do this sort of pattern of behavior when you're upset at someone by like telling other people.

that you're upset at them and then like waiting for it to sort of get around to that person.

I think like that initial 30 seconds of telling somebody that you're unhappy with something that they did is so anxiety inducing for so many people that I think the entire world's adults, kids sort of put that off.

And I find that kids being able to talk about their feelings again is so amazing for camp.

What's the best thing a kid could get out of a summer away at camp, in your opinion?
