How would you help somebody listening right now to start to peel some things off of their heart?
11:02
Yeah.
11:03
I mean, in a coaching session people come and they think it's one thing.
11:06
I know for myself I do this in my coaching sessions with my coach.
11:09
I come and I think it's one thing, and the reality is that it's actually something super far back, super deep.
11:15
So it could be that, oh my gosh, my coworker looked at me a certain type of way, but it actually is like, oh my gosh, it's ba- it's actually my brother who bullied me as a kid.
11:24
That's not totally the true story for me personally, but it's just an example.

Yeah.
4:42
So I know that's a weighted question, but a little bit.
4:48
I could go a million different directions with this question.
4:50
I would say big T, little t. I think little t tends to stack and it has a compound effect on our life because we don't realize it's there.
4:58
I would say that being the youngest and in a large family is probably where I learned most of my little t moments.
5:04
But as an adult as well, like you said, the traffic stop or the encounter or the going to a guy with a weapon, right? All those things inadvertently actually come from adrenaline dumps, right? An adrenaline dump, it marks something in my amygdala.
5:19
And then now my body's got to process all that out.
5:21
My cortisol is super shot up and high.
