H-How, how do, how do we fix this?

Victor DavilaGUEST
I think that it all still comes and starts at the grassroots, right? The, the most change that you will-- So what's the sort of-- It's the only thing that changes reality is action, and action at the grassroots is action at the point of interaction with the problem.

Victor DavilaGUEST
And when I see what folks want and demand out of this, the ultimate end goal is a national ban on PFAS, then followed by mediation and elimination techniques being discovered.

Victor DavilaGUEST
What is concerning about that still is quality, right? It's not-- The, the things to do are obvious.

Victor DavilaGUEST
They follow other ways that we have gotten rid of other really bad for us chemicals, right? It's lead point two, but like way worse.

Victor DavilaGUEST
Um, when we're looking at those potential solutions, we're seeing false solutions pop up rapidly, right? Right now in Fort Edward, there's a giant rotary thermal kiln being tested to see if they can r- burn PFAS out of the soil.

What can we do when we're talking to these people? Is there anything that we can do on a personal consumerism level, or is it all on the pressure for these companies to make these products somehow magical without the PFAS? I mean, w- what, what do we tell the public when they ask questions, because we are in New Hampshire, which is the coolest state, um, how to enjoy it without, without ruining it? Thank you.
