What was the second area that you think we should be thinking about?

So if that's the other metric, if dream cycle is one of those, the second is, and this is, again, kind of our term, but it's easy to connect on, is this idea of every person needs to be able to name and reach their kingdom circle.

And here's the idea is that every person in your church has a circle of influence that they're called to bring the kingdom of God into.

And you can call that whatever you want and find what fits your culture.

I've named it several different things at this point, but it's just this idea that often, before COVID, we'll just kind of use COVID, that was such a defining mark.

Before COVID, whenever churches were working on strategy, Though they wouldn't say it, their end goal was often to just get deeper program engagement.

And so, okay, let's get them further engaged in what we're doing and giving us more hours of their time.

But where do we even start?

That's right.

Well, first of all, I want to make sure, too, I think when I say team there, maybe your team doesn't look like W2 paid staff.

Sure.

You have a team of leaders and you have the potential for that team.

with lay leaders, with calling people up, equipping them.

And so I think when I'm using it in that context, my hope is that we look and say, I mean, how do we have our team, whether it is volunteers, whether it's part-time, full-time, and obviously the dynamics of that is different.

What are some practical next steps that you can give them to at least get those people plugged in or engaged or connected in some kind of way other than filling out a connect card.

Hmm.

And, uh, so our team went in 2016 to one of our events, and, uh, and I remember the cool story was, uh, I went, could connect, like, loved everything that Robbie and team was saying.

I went and did my bathroom break, and on the way back I'm like, "I'm, I'm quitting my job, and I'm gonna go be a part of what Replicate Robbie is doing." And, uh, and I was, like, walking down the hallway, and the Holy Spirit just says, "How can you leave The Chapel," which was my previous church, "How can you leave The Chapel without something you believe so strongly in?" And it was just the Holy Spirit saying, "Take it back and, and start doing it in Louisiana." And so, uh, didn't say anything.

Said, "Thanks so much, Robbie." We actually had him come down, and, uh, we started doing it in Baton Rouge.

It took off.

Uh, we started to see some of the things that Robbie started to struggle with at Long Hollow, we started to see success.

And so as we started to talk of like, "Hey, what i- why is it not working at Long Hollow? What's working where you are? How do we do this at Long Hollow and for other churches?" Uh, that was 2020, and, uh, and so we moved here about six years ago and started Replicate Ministry, and it's been a fun ride ever since.
