It really does make a difference, and that's why there are so many people out there canvassing, and phone banking, and postcarding, and getting involved.

Yeah, I guess the question is, if it's, if you see the election coming and you're not feeling well prepared, and maybe you've got a lot going on personally or professionally that prevents you from feeling prepared, at the very least, I do think we need to prioritize and put our focus on those issues that we're most interested in voting on.

My first reaction to canvassing was, "No way.

N- not, [laughs] I am not interested, thank you very much." But I was listening to one of Karla's past episodes and I realized, you know, actually canvassing is a great way to go out into the world, understand where other people stand, feel better informed, and make a connection in your community.
