Mm-hmm.But I'm so connected with the ocean and I always have been.

So it's always been just a part of my life and my psyche and my, and, you know, what we ate, what we did, um, you know, even having fun, just having fun at the beach, um, to ceremony, to, um, going out on the water.

Um, my uncle is a, uh, he carves abalone.

He's a maker of, you know, so a lot of cultural, um, connection.

And then we moved up to Santa Ynez when I was in eighth grade, and so a little further from the ocean, but not far.

Um, and so this is just a way of life.
