So when I finally did a horse sale, I was like, "Right, I'm gonna buy myself a, um, horse truck," and my dad said, "No, you're not.

You're gonna put that money into a rental property," which I thought was madness, but looking back it was very smart.

So my parents weren't horsey, but they've, they helped educate me in everything really, and I think that makes you rounded when you don't come from [laughs] just a horsey family.

And also I had to earn everything, so you appreciate everything.

All my sponsors now are so dear to me.

So basically I had a million part-time jobs, always wanting to ride, but I was always training.

So when you were over there with your own horses and you were learning, what are some of the big things that you really felt that you learned from Carl?
