Do you compare your GoPros and stuff?

Oh yeah, we compare everything.

Like the first two days of practice were so sick.

We were just both riding behind each other, taking different lines.

So it's so cool to have a teammate to share everything.

And also Lisa is the reason why I could win today because she was kicking my ass the whole week for sure.

Oh really? Really? She was so quick, she was so on it, she was pushing everything, and I was like, if I want to win this, I need to try to follow her.

it was really tight.

I did not feel quite confident today, so I was like, "Okay, if, if I don't feel good, at least Lisa is gonna do it."

Yeah.

But, uh, somehow I managed to ride fast enough to, to play with the girls, so yeah.

And you got, got the merch going.

Yeah, we got all the merch.

Everything is set up, and, uh, yeah, it's cool.

Like, I feel like the crowd in Leogang gets way, like, more and more over the years.

Yeah.

So, uh, I don't know.

I mean, we are pushing for it already, and Andi and I, we're the UCI reps, but, uh, it's really hard to, to get a voice and that they listen to us.

Did you notice that?

Oh yeah, that was the first thing I checked when I crossed the line.

I was like, ah, damn it.

So I wasn't even sure if it's good enough to win the lead time.

So yeah, I'm happy, but obviously not the fastest of the day, but that's totally fine.

They're kicking ass and it's good for them and gives us a lot of work for next winter.

You probably would have been a bit nervous on that hot seat for a while.

Yeah, I'm not really used to sit that long down at the bottom, so it's terrible.

And this track so far, what do you think?

Very interesting.

I watched the GoPro PV and it looks so much different in person.

Actually quite technical and you always need to work and you have to be so precise.

It will be interesting once you push how much effort you give or if you stay a little bit back and just try to be super clean.

Also it's going to develop a lot.

It's so loose and there's a lot of rocks in the track so I don't know if they still need to tidy up a little bit here.

It must be nice to have that youthful energy in the team as well.

And yeah, I just thought we could speak a bit about kind of what happened there, because it wasn't sort of cut and dried, was it, what happened with YT and things?

No, I think it all came by surprise to everyone.

I remember last year we were racing the race in Andorra, the World Cup, and then we all were flying back home on Sunday.

And then on Monday or Tuesday I opened Instagram and I saw the news on social media and that was pretty much it.

I didn't even know what those words meant.

What does it mean? They're dealing with those issues, but nobody called us up and then I would say like 30 minutes after, YT called up my manager and they explained the situation.

But they were like, yeah, everything is going to be fine.

yeah um but i mean you coped incredibly well with the pressure and i know you've spoken about pressure often being quite a good motivator for you and the schedules changed in leo gang for the first time women were the last down the hill for the first time ever um i was as a fan super excited about that how much extra pressure did that add for you

Like how do you choose the people that come into your circle?

so I would say because I started my career so early or like I got professional quite early it was mostly people or friends of our family or even family members I would say my manager now like she is a being a childhood friend from an early age.

So this helped a lot.

I mean, she's still like five years older than me, but that's why she's my manager because she's a little bit older, have that be wise and live experience.

But yeah, they've all been growing up with me.

So they know my values and they know where we come from.

Like we share the same vision about life and about the world.

It does beg the question, like, where do you see it now? What is your fire now? Where do you get your, you know, is it the next title? Is it the perfect line? What is your drive?
