For example, pain is related to falls and fractures related to depression and anxiety, suicidality, social isolation, sleep disturbance, mobility problems, decreased physical functioning, cognitive deficits, frailty, and spousal distress.

So today I'm going to start with a project that is focused on back pain.

And the reason I chose back pain is because it's the most common chronic pain condition.

It's the second most common reason for an office visit We know that lifetime prevalence exceeds 80%.

And we just learned about the considerable morbidity and potential adverse outcomes related to chronic pain in later life.
