Right.

And so the concerns around air quality around Heathrow, which were always about surface transport cars creating poor air quality particulate matter in West London, is being addressed through ULEZ and through the transition of vehicles to electric.

You know, that's a huge success for the mayor on his own terms, but it does also undermine one of his key arguments against expansion.

Yeah.

So there are some examples of positive unintended consequences, and this is actually something that's come up in debate in the past week or so, that being the London congestion charge.

So initially, before ULEZ or any of the sort of expansions of that policy were, were concocted, that London congestion charge was initially conceived to reduce congestion in the city, but it had a corresponding benefit of reducing pollution, and it's also got more people walking as opposed to driving, so better outcomes all round.

So for me, that's a sort of memorable way of thinking about the complexity of some of the reform that we know that the Casey Commission is going to trigger, and just how challenging that is to implement in an effective way in, in the challenging and complex world that we, that we live in.

Well, I hope, Rashpal, as you take on the presidency of ADAS, you'll have at the back of your mind just the concept of cobras looking out from every corner as you see reforms take hold.

Oh, this is with regards to ULEZ, the London ultra-low emission zone.

This is where your motorbike or car has to be within a certain emissions tolerance regulation to be able to legally drive into London.

I think pretty much every vehicle from 2007 onwards passes this.

It's just the legal requirement for vehicles of that era.

But vehicles pre-2007, they don't automatically pass, so you would have to either not drive that car into London because you'd have to pay 12 pounds 50, or you have to get that vehicle checked to see if it does pass the emissions.

Then you'll get a certificate to tell you, "Great, your older vehicle is actually allowed in because it is quite green." Mark says this: "One problem rarely mentioned is that motorcycles registered generally before July 2007 are classed as not being ULEZ-compliant, ultra-low emission zone compliant.

And in London and other ULEZ cities, that means you pay 12 pounds 50 every time you drive on a public road every single time.

Just before we go, there is something which I'm sure you've seen.

The Blade Runners in London, where they cut down the cameras that, you know, the emission things like this, where they, the ULEZ cameras, they call them.

And it's essentially, I mean, hyper liberals will tell you, no, we're saving the environment.

Like, no, we just sent like 21 million to Israel to carry on, like, you know, dropping, you incredibly brutally chemical bombs on kids.

Seconds in, there were children in the room.

This was during the ULEZ nonsense.
