So I am adopted and I was raised by a single mother who worked doing daycare for 20 years before she ended up retiring.

She ended up getting a cancer diagnosis.

So what I would say is that I feel like she's very proud of me of where I am.

gotten to so far.

I'd like to thank all my accomplishments so far, from college to my master's to now getting to medical school.

You know, I owe it all to her because she's the one that pushed me into doing all of this, really.

So as a looking at the future scholar as a second year medical student, how did it feel walking into that huge auditorium with all the screens and the music and what was your most memorable moment at the STS meeting?
