He, we assume he was commissioned to come to this environment because he'd been working on Carraglass Manor up in County Longford for the Lefroys, and the Lefroys were family members of, they were intermarried with the Lefroys, so I assume that's how it happened.

But in 1843, Daniel Robertson is at Pariscourt, and it's here that his place in horticultural history was forged, for good and ill.
