So my first question is, why has choline become such an important nutrient in conversations about global nutrition policy?
6:00
There are three elements I would like to bring into that answer.
6:06
The first one is science and building of science that has been going on for decades.
6:12
the role and importance about choline within science.
6:18
We're talking about brain health, we're talking about development, liver health, of course, a lot of things, one carbon metabolism, methylation.
6:28
So you have the science that is gradually building up over time.
6:32
And also regulations, they have followed after that science.
7:12
So why is now the right time to have a dedicated international conversation about it? What's changed or developed in the science?
