33 Democrats voted that basically if you try and not support genocide, if you do something to try and interrupt the support of genocide, then we will cut off all federal funding to you.

The House voted on Thursday to pass a bipartisan bill that would cut off federal funding for universities that participate in the boycott of Israel.

Bill passed 237 to 169, with almost all Republicans and 33 Democrats.

And she writes a regular column for Truthout, including a recent one entitled, quote, Trump Sanctioned ICC Officials to Shield Israeli Leaders.

Rights groups have sued, close quote.

Today, we're talking about what it means to build communities that can weather catastrophe.

By tying it all back to really what this is ultimately all about, because they've also stepped up in addition to the broad nationwide reign of terror, they've ramped up efforts on the targeted raids that are really ultimately pointing to what this is all for, which is keeping wages suppressed and specifically focusing on farm worker organizing.

And there was a really good recent example in a Truthout report that shows just how ice enforcement is being used to crush working conditions in agriculture, food production.

And this extends to any industry because, of course, we know that immigrants are involved in every part of our economy.

But, of course, farm work being one of the most concentrated.

And then this is the most cartoonishly evil 180 that we've seen, I think, on this show.

And of course, workers responded by recognizing that this is exactly why they needed to organize in the first place.

Alejandro Negrete, the organizing director of Teamster's local joint council seven, told Truthout, quote, when we see companies threaten people with immigration status or with the loss of wages or the closure of their workplaces, we're going to take that on, end quote.

And the regional labor movement is also jumping.

So I don't know if they're going to go for this.

But I did want to go to another Indy Media Award honoree, Truthout.
