Or did you say, okay, this is the time to really go forward with this filmmaking stuff?
30:09
Yeah, it was the latter.
30:10
And the reason that I was able to make that decision and accelerate with things fairly quickly was because a year and a half prior to that, I was on a mental health break from work.
30:22
At the time I was on a different team and I was having these terrible, terrible headaches.
30:27
And my doctor sent me to the ER because we thought something was seriously wrong because the headache was like going away.
30:32
And I remembered that I had only been having that specific headaches since I've been working at Google.
30:38
It was like about five years prior at that point.

Well, my really, really cool question, I think, is what's been the reaction from your former coworkers at Google now that they see you are an official full-time filmmaker?

real

and had that taken care of.

December was full of like grief, like over my physical pain, the recovery and over losing my dog who I'd had for almost 17 years.
16:04
And you know, she still remains a love of my life.
16:06
So it was a very, very, very difficult time.
16:09
But after I started kind of Coming out of that in like mid-January, I guess, I said, you know what? I either, this is going to kill me, like this heaviness, you know, because I was in Boston and cold, long, dark winters.
16:25
And without Avery, my dog, it was like, what am I now? Kind of thing, like I've been a mother so long.

enough

okay so after after the job loss um it was obviously a very stressful time and wondering what i was going to do about my knee and you know, just being like kind of lost in the fog of grief and unable to sleep.
43:18
Avery and I used to sleep together every night.
43:20
I should say I slept with her because clearly the bed was hers.
43:23
I had a king size bed and she was only 15 pounds, but she would get in the bed and somehow take up the entire bed.
43:31
And I would get in and I was like, okay, we'd have this nightly negotiation.
43:34
I'm like, can you please move over now? Can I get in bed? She would get to bed about half an hour before me.

Was it inspired by something? Where did the story come from, and what drove the passion to create it initially?
